What is it?

Greenventory by HandiFox is a Metrc-integrated inventory control & manufacturing management software for the Cannabis Medical and Recreational markets, allowing distributors and manufacturers alike to take control of their inventory process and report it with ease to state-compliance systems.

My role

At Greenventory, I dreamt up the concept for the application, analyzed markets and competitors, and presented a business case to senior management for project buy-in approval. With an ever-evolving legal and compliance situation. Proper reporting, inventory documentation, and automation had to be added to the HandiFox product to meet market needs. With a hand-picked team of developers, UI/UX, sales, and marketing specialists from HandiFox, the Greenventory project had the go-ahead. Immediately set out to secure trial clients who could help advise us in their needs. Implementation began after recognizing a precise project outline and key needed changes. Consulted with our trial clients, state and local government officials, key stakeholders and rolled out to market after six months of internal development in the Alpha version. Recognized key needed client and market needs that rapidly changed with the COVID-19 pandemic—released Beta version with needed updates including barcode scanning, manufacturing capabilities, and much more. From first launching over a year ago to attending MJBizCon and expanding to new states, including Oklahoma. It’s been a pleasure guiding my team and working alongside them in developing and supporting this fantastic endeavor.

NJVH

What is it?

Spring Reins of Life is a non-profit 501c3 organization. We are an EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) Model program offering Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) which incorporates the use of horses for therapeutic intervention toward promoting emotional growth and healing.

Springs Reins of Hope offers both Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning.

My role

As one of the longest-running volunteers at SROL, I’m heavily involved in project implementation, events, and managing volunteers and resources. I first started as a general volunteer to help build up my volunteering hours and experience. As the program finished, I continued to volunteer in helping out in everything from stall maintenance to supporting a new equine therapy animal through its’ growth in the program. In combat with the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed an online booking and scheduling platform for SROL/SROH to continue its operations throughout the trying times. This platform allowed clients to directly book sessions through the website, consult with team members about specific types of activities, and join sessions through several video conferencing services. I continue to support the programs by monitoring and updating the websites, relaying customer concerns and analytics to key stakeholders.

Skee Kow Skateboards

What is it?

Skee Kow Skateboards was a locally started skateboards company in Princeton, NJ. Started by two high-school friends, Skee Kow designed two main graphics and supplied local skate shops, and supported young athletes in the community. Based on a real-life cat who has defied all odds and is still living with one eye.

My role

As my first ever entrepreneurial project, Skee Kow Skateboards was one of the most exciting projects I’ve ever worked on. Starting from scratch with almost no knowledge base, working with my co-founder, we were able to build the company from the ground up. We designed graphics, set up an LLC and bank accounts, managed budgets, manufacturing, and sourced shelf space. Initially starting with two board designs, we could source a smaller scaled manufacturer that allowed us to order in low quantities. After placing our order, we found a shop that would carry our product, set up an online shop, and made sure we had some PR and social media to back us up. After receiving our order, we gave out samples, sent out orders to our shop, and reserved the rest for online sale and personal use. We continued with “sponsoring” 5 local and up-and-coming athletes with free boards to further promote our company and product. Around a year after first placing our order, we completely sold out of boards and other merchandise we had produced. After paying taxes, we were able almost to triple our initial buy-in.
